F****dCompany.com has F****d traffic. Can TechCrunch bring it back from its own dead pool?

Mike Arrington announces that TechCrunch is acquiring F****dCompany.com. This will be an interesting turnaround case to watch, since FC has had f’d traffic since its peak during Bubble 1.0:

I’ve no doubt that Mike’s traffic can make this turnaround a success, especially considering that a large number of his commenters revel in playing the dead pool game. Good luck, Mike! (And this was a really, really excellent April Fool’s joke!)

    Looks like Mike’s joke sextupled their traffic overnight. What a wonderful power to have…

    Over at GreenOptions, our April fools post literally convinced people that (for instance) ExxonMobil was tapping whale oil as a source of biodiesel to appear ‘green.’
